FSP’s 2024 roadmap includes a 2500W power supply

FSP has unveiled an ambitious product lineup for the year 2024, headlined by the groundbreaking Cannon Pro 2500W power supply. This powerhouse boasts 80 Plus Platinum certification, adheres to ATX 3.1 standards, and incorporates an updated PCIe Gen5 connection.

Geeknetic has provided comprehensive insights into FSP's 2024 offerings, with the Cannon Pro 2500W taking center stage. Sporting three PCIe 6+2-pin and four PCIe 12V-26 connectors, this modular PSU has the theoretical capability to power up to four RTX 4090 cards simultaneously. However, users should exercise caution, as such a configuration may leave limited power resources for other system components. Notably, this fully modular power supply offers versatility in configuration, even when powering a single RTX 40 card. It's anticipated to remain compatible with the upcoming RTX 50 cards, even those demanding double the power.

Beyond the flagship 2500W PSU, FSP has revealed a diverse range of units across various series:

  1. Cannon Series: Anchored by the Cannon Pro 2500W, this series likely features other power supply units with varying capacities and specifications.

  2. Mega Series (TI, PM, GM): A versatile series offering power supplies with different features and capabilities, including variations such as TI, PM, and GM models.

  3. Dagger Series (PM): Focused on efficiency and performance, particularly with the PM model, the Dagger Series delivers reliable power.

  4. Advan Series (PM; GM, BD+, BD): Catering to diverse needs, the Advan Series encompasses power supply units with varied specifications, including PM, GM, BD+, and BD models.

  5. Vita Series (GM, GD, BD): Providing a range of capacities and features, the Vita Series includes power supplies with different configurations, such as GM, GD, and BD variants.

Additionally, FSP is expanding its Hydro PTM Pro and Hydro G Pro lines with new variants, offering 1350W and 1650W for the former and up to 1200W for the latter (previously up to 1000W).

In the realm of PC cases, FSP has exciting models in the pipeline:

  1. CST360: A compact mATX case featuring a front mesh design and side tempered glass panels.
  2. CMT380A: Resembling FSP's interpretation of the Lian Li O11 Mini design.
  3. CMT580: A mid-tower version inspired by the O11 Mini Air (or O11 Evo) with a front mesh design.
  4. CUT593 E-ATX PC Case Series: Introducing swappable front panels and emphasizing cable management.

FSP's 2024 product lineup demonstrates a commitment to innovation, offering a comprehensive range of power supplies and PC cases to meet the diverse needs of users in the ever-evolving landscape of technology and computing.
