Asus launches new ProArt PC case and AIO liquid cooler

The Asus ProArt series, traditionally known for its color-calibrated monitors, has undergone a significant expansion in recent years. Beyond monitors, the ProArt lineup now includes cases and coolers for the first time. One notable addition is the ProArt LC420 AIO, featuring a sleek all-black aesthetic designed for workstations. Equipped with Noctua Industrial PPC fans, this 420mm AIO cooler offers a stealthy and powerful cooling solution.

The ProArt LC 420 stands out as one of the few 420mm AIO coolers in the market. Its silent airflow is achieved through three Noctua NF-A14 industrial PWM 140mm radiator fans. With a three-phase motor pump ensuring consistent heat transmission to the radiator, the cooler's thicker-than-average radiator allows for increased coolant capacity, reducing the workload on the fans and motor. The LC 420 also boasts 450mm of reinforced, sleeved tubing, providing durability and flexibility for various configurations.

In the realm of cases, the ProArt PA602 takes center stage. Crafted to streamline the PC building experience, it offers a suite of features, including automatic dust detection, an integrated PWM control on the front I/O panel power lock latch, and a multitude of easily accessible USB ports.

The PA602 chassis prioritizes effective cooling, featuring an open-grille front panel with large 15.5mm venting holes at 45% porosity, complemented by two pre-installed 200mm ProArt front fans. These fans, with their 38mm thickness and 300–1000 RPM range, provide exceptional airflow with PWM control. The inclusion of a 140mm fan at the rear enhances heat expulsion.

Internal design considerations contribute to efficient cooling, with dual air deflectors directing airflow where needed. A panel along the motherboard tray's front edge guides the airstream over the top edge of the motherboard, minimizing turbulence. The PSU shroud, with its angled front edge, channels airflow towards the graphics card.

Designed to accommodate E-ATX motherboards (12×10.9 inches), the ProArt PA602 chassis offers ample space for robust components. With a maximum CPU cooler height of 190mm, the top panel is also capable of housing radiators up to 420mm for liquid cooling enthusiasts. The interior is spacious, allowing for the installation of four 3.5-inch drives and up to eight 2.5-inch drives. Noteworthy features include a single unified header for simplified front panel I/O connection, easily removable side panels, and Asus' innovative PCIe add-in device insertion method that eliminates the need for a screwdriver.
